| This is Armstrong in Arizona Territory. One of the 1st platoon machinegunners. This man could handle an M-60 like no one I had ever seen before. I think he was from Jamaica. SM-1 |

| Steve Mahoney is the one in the center with the glasses. On the right, with his hood up, is Delmar Herrin who was killed in February '70. On the ground are more POW's. This is on Football Island adjacent to Arizona Territory. Other guys are mortars and HST. SM-5 |
